About The Thrift Ledger
A budget is just a plan for your money, written down. We write plain-English guides to the main budgeting methods and the small weekly habit that makes any of them work.
What we do
We publish budgeting guides, a 50/30/20 budget calculator, a side-by-side comparison of budgeting methods, the Budget Basics checklist and a free printable Monthly Budget Ledger. We send Ledger Lines to people who sign up for it, and we're preparing the Ledger Budget Spreadsheet, a paid budgeting spreadsheet.
What we don't do
- We don't sell financial products or give personal financial advice.
- We don't earn commissions from banks, lenders or budgeting apps.
- We never ask for bank logins or account numbers.
- We never sell or share your email address.
Who runs it
The Thrift Ledger is operated by Rip & Ride LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
